Hi All,
There are more summer nucs on offer now - in Essex, Leeds, Devon, Leeds, Newport added to those in Cardiff, Coventry, Nuneaton.
Here in Norfolk the weather is still hot and the bees are making honey. Right now they have a great choice of nectar sources to choose from. Including Bramble, Sweet Chestnut, White Clover, Rosebay Willow Herb, and here in the city, Lavender. That is to mention just a few.
The orange, yellow, black and purple colors of the pollen collected and stored in the brood frames shows the wide variety of plants visited by the bees at this time of the year. Every time I check out a pollen chart I am amazed at the number of plants that the bees will visit.
Happy beekeeping.
Yours,
Patrick
