ARE YOU IN LEEDS AND IN NEED OF A COLONY? HELP NEEDED!

I find it a sobering fact that we are now only three weeks away from the middle of summer.

Right now our queens are coming into maximum lay and will slowly increase the amount they lay until mid summer's day. After mid summer's day they will slowly decrease their egg laying.

Summer nectar flow? At the moment, large amounts of nectar is hard to find around here. That will change as more brambles come into flower and in a week or two the Lime trees and the Sweet Chestnut give an abundance of nectar for honey making - weather willing!

As beekeepers we need to have plenty of supers and frames to hand ready for the main event!

New 2025 queens are coming into lay. It will still take a few weeks of laying pattern to see that they are laying well.

There are new offers in NORTH WILTSHIRE, HULL (2026), NUNEATON, THE WIRRAL.
(Please don't forget you can always have nucs delivered to your door).

Happy beekeeping!

Yours,

Patrick
