Hi Everyone

I am in the process of doing a Mailshot and wondered if there was a
general opinion of the types of businesses that use Virtual PA's.
Don't want to waste lots of money sending to the wrong people
(although they say in Marketing there is never wrong people - word of
mouth is always a great tool). But would like to target as many "Good
Companies" as possible.

All opinions will be greatfully appreciated.

Hi Claire

I tend to aim for small businesses & individuals, they're the kind of people
who need some support but not full time, and often they don't have the room
for someone on site.

Also some larger firms outsource their typing - I do occasional work for a
small legal practice, when they have an overload of work, or more than one
person on holiday or off sick.

Regards

Keely

Hi Claire,
the best type of marketing i found (and has generated the bulk of my
business) is networking. It's a less time consuming, cheaper and you
get the message out to a captive audience. People buy from people. You
may wish to consider whether your skills and experience would suit a
niche market such as solicitors, consultants, life coaches. It's not
just about finding anyone to work with but finding the people YOU want
to work with - that are not going to be hard work to deal with or
quibble over your fees. I would recommend you subscribe to the
newsletters on www.vact.com - full of useful tips
wishing you every sucess
warm regards
