I am sure that we can provide names of people for the city to invite and those who can will and those can’t won’t attend, to ask for a specific date is beside the point in my estimation.

 

From an Operations and Strategic Services perspective include Milcho Damianov, Andile Swartbooi, Joe Manyaka, Brent Africa, Denice Manganye, Sinethemba Mpambane and Thompson Mkansi – they will in turn decide who else from their departments to include and/or send.

 

Please oblige, the City is a critical stakeholder, gave this university eighty million rand and we should cooperate fully with them.

Good day Mr. Petersen,   I trust this finds you well, the City Manager will be hosting once again the Annual Report Stakeholder Engagement in the coming weeks, the date is yet to be confirmed. However proposed dates are 14, 15, 16 & 17 March.   Our request to your office is to please be furnished with the list of academics (different faculties) from UJ (yourself included), that you recommend the City to invite to this engagement.   We would appreciate it if the recommended invitees list could be forwarded before end of this week in order to circulate the invites and annual report on time.   Our Group Communication Department, which is the custodian of this event is considering inviting not less than 20 academics from each university (UJ; Wits) in order to generate rigorous engagement and feedback on the document, however we’ll welcome any number you recommend.   Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.   Look forward to hearing from you.   Warm regards   Nobantu Lesia Office of the City Manager Group Strategy, Policy Coordination & Relations IKM Tel: (011) 407-6470 Mobile: 0832852452
