Open Call For Votes Various RFDs

In order that voting can be seen to be open and fair here is a method of
voting which will dispense with all subterfuge.
As all subscribers have the same rights of voting no vote in this open
vote will be invalid.

Voting will cease on the 31st January 2002 at 23.59.59hrs GMT.
Unabridgd results will be posted here at the earliest possible
opportunity and any objections must be received within 48 hours of that
time and gate of posting.

Creation will be 48 hours after that date on which the objections
close unless a greater number of objections than the majority vote are
received.

All votes must be cross posted to both unnc, unnm and uiuc.rha.allen .

The latter group being the definitive one for counting purposes.

I have cast my vote, and wonder whether you would mind producing just one more
RFD, for me?
I am not very good at that sort of thing, and you have the expertise.

You have asked for a group uk.net.news.porkpies, which I am in favour of, and
with that in mind, I wonder if you would officially request a group called
uk.net.news.porkie-pies. I think it would be of great benefit and interest to
all.
