Hey Ho it's .... .... .. Sunday;
I went to a favourite shop yesterday, oh there are lots of them
cropping up on High Streets but this is special
Whenever I took Annjean to the supermarket she would demand that we
went to 'Harrods', she and her best mate Audrey christened all charity
shops with that.
Asked about articles purchased they would say they got them at
Harrods, just a tiny little fib. Oh yes I digress, the shop was the
Debra shop and it was because of the effelumps, and the puppies. Cobweb,
a friend of indeterminate years and Tickettyboo her mate, had said they
were interested in the story about Ben and Mac. They read the tale at
http://www.biffo.cwc.net/story1.htm and asked what became of Ben. ( Read
this carefully I may ask questions)
So having written the new story I needed to get the pooches out ofthe
charity shop where they were up for grabs at a knock down price.
I just took photos and had a chat with the staff, they're lovely
dedicated people who give their time for a cause they feel strongly
about.
Debra is an acronym for the disease Epidermolysis Bullosa ( EB) The
victims have skin as fragile as a butterfly wing. Cuddling children with
it could hurt them, learn more about it at http://www.debra.org.uk/
Haley from Roys Rolls opened our local branch in a shopping mall next to
the supermarket. Books for 20 pence to cuddly toys for a pound, natty
gents suits for a fiver ;-)

So the chap who fell asleep at the wheel got five years, I suppose that
if we look at other fallers asleep we could extend the penalty to Judges
who snooze while hearing a case, jurors who drop off while hearing
boring evidence. Who amongst us has not gone heavy eyed from time to
time.
Gary Hart was wide awake and alerting the authorities when the trains
arrived. I would rather have seen him sentenced to Community Service for
the same priod, look how much it would have saved us too.

I told you about Elizabeths party didn't I ? I was commandeered for
balloon blowing up duties, we had lots of fun. Mac is scared about
balloons he jumps when they pop. Thinks " Next year take a pin " ;-)

I suppose I'd better jump to it as well, a brisk walk on the field and
then scrambly egg on toast. Copious amounts of Douwe Egberts, all milk,
to wash it down and then a quick scan of my favourite news forum.

Oh no that Tickettyboo character has sent another thousand posts
overnight ;-) Where's the ketchup....
