historical domain with this last concert the 99/00 season ...]

Chicago Early Music Concert

The Scholars of Cambrai will conclude their season of "Music for the Turn of
the Century" with a program entitled "Circa 1600." Included are sacred and
secular works by Gesualdo, Sweelinck, Le Jeune, Hassler, Kapsberger, Salamon
Rossi, a scene from "La Rappresentatione di Anima et di Corpo" by Emilio de'
Cavalieri, and selections from the Marsh Lute Book. Joel Spears, theorbo, Gail
Gillispie, lute, and Ron Crawford, Renaissance winds, join the 5 voice vocal
ensemble in this program.

Performance dates, times, & locations are as follows:

Sat April 1, 8 pm, St. Luke's Church, Lake St. at Lathrop, River Forest IL
Sat April 8, 8 pm, Unitarian Church of Evanston, 1330 Ridge, Evanston IL
Sun April 9, 3 pm, All Saints Episcopal Church, Hermitage & Wilson, Chicago IL
Tickets are $15 regular admission, $10 students & senior citizens. For more
