The site contains an extensive, searchable, database for grains, hops,
and yeasts.
There is also a recipe database. What is different with this recipe
databases is that we allow members to score submitted recipes per the
BJCP scoring system. We also use a sliding window for scores so that
the average scores noted for a recipe are the most recent scores which
helps keep the scores, perhaps, more pertinent than 10 year old
information. All recipes submitted are reviewed and any ingredients
which are not auto-selectable we review for addition to our databases.
We also cross link all recipes to the databases and style guidelines so
that you can click through to see information on ingredients used and
style information.
We suggest users sign up as members which is FREE. We use the
membership list to send out new recipes to members (if they want the
emails).
