Position/Role Title: DevOps Service Engineer High Priority
Location: MSFT Redmond
Roles/Responsibilities:
· Plan and execute the implementation of partners onboarding to our BizTalk Hubs in the quest to expand in new geos for Retail
· Act as the central point of coordination and management of design, development, testing and support resources as solutions are deployed
· Demonstrate understanding of business requirements analysis that follows industry best practices for software development life cycle (SDLC) in a team environment
· Ability to utilize technical skills/experience to improve business processes, system feature/functions, usability and performance
· Sound judgment, decision-making skills, and ability to work under continual deadline pressure.
· Evaluate requests for changes or enhancements by considering the capabilities of all Microsoft based technologies to satisfy these needs. Design and document of the
required functional specifications for business change requirements submitted from internal users
· Promote proactive and cooperative relationships within the work group by working collaboratively with business stakeholders, vendors, support, development and test
teams
· Work with internal customers and product management to determine business requirements
· Analyze business requirements, provide cost/schedule estimate and then implement the solutions either directly through systems configuration or translation of
business requirements into clear and unambiguous functional specifications
· Work closely with solution management, development, test, support and architecture teams across international time zones and deliver quality solutions to our business
· Be a self-starter that can maintain focus and deliver results consistently
Primary Skills/Must Have:
· 5+ years or more of development and migration experience with BizTalk Server (2009, 2013)
· More than 3+ years of Supply Chain Experience preferably in Retail and Suppliers space
· 5-8 years of related experience in project management, process analysis, and applications delivery
· Excellent communication skills and a successful track record of project delivery
· Sound problem resolution, team building, judgment and decision making skills
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· BA/BS degree in Quantitative Business (Economics, Statistics, MIS, and Operations), Computer Science, Business or a related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· 5-8 years of related experience in supply chain systems implementations using the Microsoft technologies stack
· Certified PMP professional
· Well-versed in SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle) and SCRUM or similar Agile implementation methodologies and with a solid track record of delivering projects
quickly and on time and on budget.
