Hi Everyone,

Wanted to add a couple notes:

Getting Support and Answers
1. Make sure to send any PreSales, TechSupport, and Training questions to:
Supp...@uisoftware.com
2. Comments made on social media and in user forums may not be seen and we
want to get you answers, make sure to email.

Product Development Roadmap
1. As Eric is one person, all product development has been linear - one
after the other.
2. We have a second developer for all Windows 10 versions so that will
change a bit.
3. MacOS ("cocoa") versions will be created first, then handed off to the
Windows developer.
4. The current 2019-2021 development order is:

- ArtMatic CTX 1.0 (MacOS)
- ArtMatic CTX 1.0 (Windows)
- MetaSynth CTX 1.0 (MacOS)
- MetaSynth CTX 1.0 (Windows)
- Xx CTX 1.0 (MacOS)
- Xx CTX 1.0 (Windows)
- ArtMatic V-Quartz CTX 1.0 (MacOS)
- ArtMatic V-Quartz CTX 1.0 (Windows)

There do remain a lot of unknowns on The Road Ahead as we work to bring
Eric's products
to the new MacOS platform and Windows 10.

I know what you mean.

Unfortunately it seems to be £200 here in the UK (closer to $240)
which — at a time of great uncertainty — is a harder spend on
something which is a fun/hobby/curiosity app rather than business
tool.

I've no doubt of the value of the app, and I do believe Eric should be
rewarded his — considerable — efforts.

Probably I will end up justifying it somehow…

We can’t use GPU for ArtMatic engine. With 2349 function it is way too large to fit in GPU shaders memory.
Plus a single component like DF Cities in itself is too complex for GPU. GPU is really meant for polygonal rendering and is very limited for procedural stuffs.
However with a lot of cores it get get pretty fast even on CPU. PC world has some very powerful machines…

Best,
Eric
