Does Xx work with LogicX or Pro Tools

I'm curious to know if Xx works in any way with Logic Pro or Pro Tools. I understand it's a stand alone program, but I would love to know if it's possible to sync the program to a DAW. Something real time would be preferred as I'm looking to potentially use Xx with my existing sounds/DAWS.

Hi,

Xx doesn't have synching. You can export your tracks from Xx or export a MIDI file, but it can't synchronize in realtime to another app.

Hello, I found the solution with Xx5.5. You need external MIDI interface with MIDI In and Midi Out.

– In Xx set: Track Output–MIDI Out–your external MIDI interface

– In external MIDI Interface connect MIDI Out with MIDI In via MIDI cable

– Now you are recieving in real time MIDI notes from Xx to your external MIDI interface. All you need to do is set in DAW routing from MIDI track to virtual instrument. I use it with Digital Performer.
