Spaghetti Dinner Planning Meeting

Hey,

There will be an event-planning meeting this Tuesday, December 6th at 9:15 p.m. in the Iowa Room (3rd floor) of the Memorial Union. This will not be a regular meeting; the discussion will only cover event logistics & details. Our 2nd Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser will take place this Sunday, December 9th at The Congregational United Church of Christ (30 N. Clinton St.) from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. If you have an interest in finalizing the plans or staffing the event you are welcome to join us at this meeting.

We need all members to get the word about this event and to sell as many tickets as possible. Remember, if someone cannot attend the event, encourage them to purchase a $5 ticket on behalf of the Homeless Shelter.

The following people have all ready signed up to volunteer. If you have not signed up yet but would like to help out, send an e-mail to chad-...@uiowa.edu. We will send out details to volunteers later including a schedule of times and duties.

Elections will take place next week in the Iowa Room on Tuesday, December 11th! If you are interested in running for a leadership position send me an e-mail chad-...@uiowa.edu with your name and the position you are interested in running for. The positions are listed on our chapter website: www.uiowa.edu/~habitat along with the current member's contact information so you can ask them if you have any questions about their responsibilities.

If you have not placed an order for a t-shirt, e-mail chad-...@uiowa.edu with your name, quantity, size, and phone number. We need at least 20 for Imprinted Sportswear to make our screen and begin production.
