important update

Hey,

I have attached this semester's t-shirt design (in both word 07, and word 03). For those of you viewing it in word03, there are two images on the back you can't see; they are a hard-hat and wrench. For the design layout: the first page will be the back (with the 4 boxes and quote), the second page will be the front (with the UI Chapter text), and the third page has the logo and year which will be placed on a sleeve.

The price of the shirts will be $12. If you would like one please e-mail me (chad-...@uiowa.edu) your name, t-shirt size, quantity, and phone number.

There will be an action planning meeting for our next grant on Sunday, December 2nd from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Iowa Valley's office. These meetings are really beneficial for everyone who attends. Not only does it give our chapter a good image when the companies are deciding to award grants, but the meetings are very informative; I recommend going to anyone who is interested in holding a leadership position (in any student organization) because you will learn some valuable advice on fundraising, team motivation, and planning.

If you are interested in going on a Collegiate Challenge Habitat trip over spring break, e-mail adam-mc...@uiowa.edu this week so we can begin getting our chapter registered.

If you will be around Friday, December 21st (last day of finals) or Saturday, December 22nd, we will be gift wrapping at the Coral Ridge mall for a fundraiser. E-mail joan.h...@gmail.com if you have some time on either day and you would be willing to help us out. We're looking for 1 person on Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m; 3 people on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m; and 4 people on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. We're going to have boxes and wrapping paper at our next meeting to practice wrapping for a little bit. Get excited!

The Spaghetti Dinner will be on Sunday, December 9th from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Congregational United Church of Christ located at 30 N. Clinton Street.
