Hey,
I just wanted to remind you all about the miniature golf tournament this Saturday and Sunday at Sycamore mall in Iowa City benefiting Habitat for Humanity and our current Youth United student-built home. If you are interested in participating you can find more information here: http://www.bay-drop.com/minigolf/
This event is going to be a ton of fun, and I encourage all of you to stop by and check it out on either day. There will be a television there, so you can still watch Iowa take on Penn State and win their first Big 10 game of the season. Members of our chapter will be staffing the event on Sunday from 12:30 - 4:30. If you have signed up to volunteer, you will receive another e-mail (sorry) with details. If you haven't signed up to work but are interested, e-mail me at chad-...@uiowa.edu.
Walls and roof trusses are currently being added to the Youth United house. If you couldn't make it to our last meeting, and have not made previous arrangements with Gayle, you can sign up to volunteer on the construction site here: http://www.ivhfh.org/volunteer/index.php
