Important announcements

Hi all,
Welcome back to the new college session.

There are a few important announcements to be made.

Firstly, we'll soon be discontinuing with this google group. We have set up a new forum, and all our discussions and new announcements will soon be shifted to the new forum. The forum is pretty new and work is still going on to have all the required features set up. We would like you to join this new forum and start your own threads/posts in the relevant forums. You can ask your questions, have a general discussion, initiate new project, give feedback etc All suggestions about the same are welcome.

Secondly, in case you are pursuing any course on learningconnection.sun.com (Sun Academic Initiative) then you must complete your course and take the print out of certificates before August 15th. The system shall be upgraded and your old courses and certificates will be lost after Aug 15th.

Finally, we will be starting this new semester will a brief introduction of Open Source and a few basic technologies. Students should be attending our first session on 7th  Aug, Room No 217 at 5:00pm so that our future sessions are easy to understand. Any changes in the schedule shall be informed.
