GCHT Monthly Session - 1/17 - please note location

Hello all,

The next GCHT meeting on is on Wednesday 1/17 at 5:30 pm at the Molecular Biology Research Building (MBRB) 1st floor auditorium, 900 S Ashland (enter on Marshfield ave side of building)

We will be watching the documentary "Living in Emergency" which is about volunteers working with Medicin San Frontiers (aka Doctors Without Borders).  

This is the next session in the career exploration part of the GCHT to consider careers in global health involving humanitarian relief and disaster response.  We will have a special guest, Dr. Maura Woznica, who is a family medicine physician here at UI Health who has served as an MSF volunteer.  She will be present for a Q&A after the film viewing.  Please make every effort to attend as this is really a privilege to have Dr. Woznica talk to us about her experiences.
