This year, GHSIG is joining PHSA to put together one of the biggest
nights at the UIC School of Public Health - International Night! If
you haven't gone to one yet, its a lot of fun, with live music, a huge
variety of food from international restaurants, bar, silent auction,
raffle, and activities- last year they had a professional bring in
large reptiles! It is a good opportunity to mingle with your fellow
SPHers and faculty members.
The announcement:
*International Night 2009 - Join a Committee!*
Let's make the 2009 International Night the best yet! If you are
interested in joining any committee, please complete the form below.
We are looking to form committees of 4-5 people each to tackle some of
the major components of International Night.
Committee Descriptions:
1. Food Committee - Brainstorm fantastic ethnic restaurants in the
Chicago and contact for food donations.
2. Entertainment Committee - Investigate a variety of different forms
of entertainment (e.g. bellydancing, African drums, etc.) and contact
to provide entertainment throughout the evening.
3. Silent Auction & Raffle Committee - Contact a variety of theaters,
restaurants, and organizations to procure donations for our awesome
Silent Auction and Raffle!
4. Decorations Committee - Do you love to decorate? Well then this the
committee for you!
5. Clean Up/Break Down Committee - Exactly what it sounds like...maybe
not the most glamorous, but definitely important!
