WELL, SAVE THE DATE! ALL MAJORS WELCOME!

On Tuesday, April 7, 2009, career diplomat Brian Flora will discuss
career and internship opportunities with the U.S. Department of State
at the University of Illinois at Chicago's Latino Cultural Center.
The event is titled, "Careers and Internships in the U.S. Department
of State" and will take place on the East Campus in Lecture Center
B2. The presentation will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a light
reception. Dr. Flora, who is currently serving as Diplomat in
Residence at the University of Illinois, will leave ample time for
questions.

The Department of State offers a variety of interesting and
challenging jobs and internships in Washington and in U.S. Embassies
and Consulates around the world. This is a great way to learn about
opportunities in public service. They are looking to recruit a
diverse group of individuals with knowledge not only in areas
traditionally associated with diplomacy (such as history, political
science, international relations, and economics), but also those with
backgrounds in business, office management, public administration,
natural sciences, communications, law, information management and
security.

ALL MAJORS WELCOME!!!!

Please forward to anyone you feel might be interested. If you have
any questions, feel free to call us at (312) 996-3095 or email

We hope to see you there!
