Dear Pre-Moot Participants,

Again, I would like to thank all of you for coming and taking part at the 3rd Central-European / Budapest Pre-Moot. I hope that this event was beneficial for all of you and was a good opportunity for preparation for the Vienna Vis Moot. I wish you great pleadings and parties in Vienna and also, maybe not too early, I would like to congratulate to all of you, especially for those teams who will advance to the further rounds. Needless to say, I hope that most of the best 64 teams will come from the ones who spent the previous few days in Budapest.

Attached to this email you can find the ranking and the table containing all the scores that you received at the hearings. When you look at the ranking you will see that to some extend it is different from what was announced on Wednesday. This difference comes from an unfortunate mistake. We are really sorry for it, and please take our apologies, especially the teams who are really affected by this mistake. Unfortunately when the points were calculated, by accident, in the case of some teams the practice round points were also added to the total points. However, we corrected this error and in the table now you can see the points the teams received in the general rounds. The points with yellow background are virtual points. We created virtual points where after the hearing the arbitrators had not filled out all the three scoring sheets. Also, we brought the scoring sheets to Vienna with us, so you can pick them up in the Juridicum.

I would like to let you know that the 4th Budapest Pre-Moot will be held on April 7 – 10, 2014, just a few days prior to the 21st Vienna Moot. Again, it will be a good opportunity for the refinement of the arguments and getting warmed up for the Vienna Rounds. I hope that you will return next year.

Finally, thank you again, it was great meeting you all, and I wish you all the best in Vienna! Hope you see you soon.
