I didn't take the UI Dental plan into retirement. It seemed to be too
expensive for the benefits you received. I found this site on the
Internet, http://www.dentalplans.com/dentalplans/index.asp, and hooked
up with Aetna Dental Access. For $160 a year, it will give you and
your wife about a 40% discount on most dental procedures. You'll have
to find a Dentist that accepts the plan. There are many other plans to
choose from too. In fact, the hard part was deciding on which plan to
sign up with.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the posting on the Dental coverage. We have not done
anything as yet. I did check out the link you sent and the one you
are using is not accepted by our dentist, but I plan to look at
others. Right now we just go for cleanings and check-ups but sooner
or later I'm sure we'll need some more expensive work and insurance
will come in handy.

Hi Tony,
Those plans will also give you discounts on cleanings and check-ups
too. That alone will save you enough to pay for the plan. I had a
crown come off the other day and the re-install was $115. I was only
charged $65.
