Very interesting, but if this was posted in 2014, I would understand
required 4+ years SL skills ;)
But this is 2011, so only Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal can apply for
this job.

Silverlight was initially released in April 2007, so it would be 4 years next month... However, SL2 was foundation of what we now consider SL and it was released in March 2008, so you are right there...

What surprises me more that it is 6-month contract on $40/hour without benefits. Seems a bit on low side, but I have no idea of job market in Arizona...

What lesson have we learned, some recruiters are not worth the air they breath.

I am from Phoenix but left there in 08.  This is just outside Phx and it is probably too low in my opinion.  A developer with 5 years of C# should be able to get more if they are any good.  Perhaps they are targeting offshore resources?

I wanted to apply, but there's "US Citizens only" statement. Which i'm
not :)

Nevertheless, I'm glad to see some demand for SL devs!

It's still uncertain what will be "standard" for RIA UI on web, IMHO,
so me, and probably all, front-end .net devs should now know SL and
HTML/JS and HTML5 and jQuery and ExtJS ... ;)

Is there any demand for SL/HTML .net jobs, where i can work from home
(i'm from Croatia)?
Here, where I live, companies don't invest in sw dev process at all
(agile practices, client requirements, func/tech specs, quality of dev
and code, UI with great UX, testing, deployment and CI). So i'm very
dissatisfied ....
