David Bradford is a Big Data advocate and practitioner who has developed Big Data and analytics projects in strategy work at the highest levels in corporate Fortune 500 America and most recent in a stint in state government in economic development. He holds both law and MBA degrees from Brigham Young University and has worked in corporate finance and as part of the U.S. Strategy team at Walmart. Most recently he spent time in the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development as director for economic development for the IT/Software sector where he was instrumental in setting up a “Big Data” working group as part of his broader, comprehensive strategic plan to grow the Utah IT/Software sector.
His remarks will focus on his work as a finance, strategy, and strategic planning professional and implementing Big Data and analytics into corporate and government environments.
