OC TANNER COMPANY is hosting a public Code Retreat on April 25th beginning at 8:30 AM, facilitated by Maitria’s Alex Harms.
What’s a code retreat?
Code Retreats are repeatable, day long events focused on practicing the fundamentals of software development. Everyone pairs every session, and the problem is always the same - a zero-player game called Conway’s Game of Life. The language you use is not important, and often more obscure programming languages will be well represented by other attendees. Sure, you can work in Ruby or Python or Java or C# all day. But if you like, the chances are good you can try Scala or Clojure or Erlang or Elixir too.
How OC Tanner will do it.
We’re pulling out the stops. Our facilitator will be Alex Harms from Maitira Agile Coaching in Cleveland, OH. Our executive chef Frank Mendoza will be catering the event. We’re holding it in our solarium - our most comfortable and beautiful meeting space.
Space is limited to 30 seats. Please register early.
