Hi Folks,
The lowdown on each blogger's lastest challenge entry lies within this
Daily Digest.
Enjoy!

RITCHEY
Topic: shaving, Soothing Vibrations (tm), and a
special kind of razor
Tone: fierce, outspoken, and 100% real woman
Favorite quote: "Some of you probably thought this was
a frivolous entry. Well it wasn't. It was about
women's rights."
We say: This entry was engaging, funny, and
uncharacteristically brief. Extra credit for new
forays into video and for actually reviewing a new
product. Way to answer the challenge in a way that
told us both about the product and about yourself.

JAMES
Topic: Pictures, words and music about (we think)
cartoons
Tone: Hyper and playful
Favorite quote:

We say: Not really a new product review. We love
James' multimedia posts, but it's about time for us to
hear some words from him.

MEDYA
Topic: Reflective Safety Vests/Harnesses, digital
camera, Setar tuner
Tone: Sincere
Favorite quote: "I really love this camera , witohut
it I feel my soul caged."
We say: These are clearly three things he really
likes. Another clear response to the challenge.

WILLOW
Topic: New Superhero oxygen gum
Tone: Talky, sassy
Favorite quote: "No pulleys, no movable parts, no
bi-annual fittings at BSSCo. Just a small purple
ball."
We say: Cute outfit and imaginative, but we hope the
real Willow comes back soon too. Amusing but not
ultimately so.

LYOVA
Topic: street egg vending apparatus
Tone: Lyova
Favorite quote: "It is a personal favourite of mine to
improvise dramatic narratives and unfold the bold
tales of Boris Alexandrovich's evenings. In some way,
he is myself. In some different ways, he is what I
want to be. Sometimes, he is what I do not dare be. He
enriches my existence by extending my egos."
We say: Brilliant, as usual. Love the shout-out to
host Mike on his birthday. Surprisingly personal and
thoughtful for a review of sexy girl toys. If Lyova
doesn't start a blog soon, we hope Boris Alexandrovich
does (urbanhonking.com/otokonotashinami?)

LOIS
Topic: New cat brightening wash will perk up your
dingy, stained cat
Tone: Infomercial
Favorite quote: "Look at the way her fur stands out
around her face giving her that less-than-desirable
John Quincy Adams mutton-chop sideburns appearance."
We say: We interpreted this challenge to mean the
bloggers would review an actual product, but several
contestants took it to mean reviewing an imaginary
product. In the end, we don't feel this approach
brought out the best in our bloggers, perhaps because
they aren't speaking with their authentic voices. When
it comes to Lois' post, there's the issue of the
different colored cats joke. It just didn't do it for
us.

MIMI
Topic: Becoming a super-stripper
Tone: Thoughtful and detatched
Favorite quote: "When I reached home, I realised this
was because my Mystic Tan had moved on from elegant
sun-kissed brown, to lurid dayglo satsuma."
We say: Not only did she discuss actual new products,
but she also discussed the physical and psychological
process of turning her body into a product. It's this
kind of thoughtful and engaging writing about topics
that are usually considered dirty or risque that makes
Mimi such a great addition to our blogger lineup. She
makes her experience comprehensible to people who are
totally outside of her world, and that shows fantastic
talent as a writer.

Oh, and don't miss one of the best comment threads
yet:

BREAKING NEWS: Ritchey wins immunity with the " Not
Depressing At All Immunity Orthodontic Headgear and
Braces." Congrats, Ritchey. It's no headdress, but it will secure your
spot in the game for at least one more round.

See y'all tomorrow,
