5.2 includes a bug fix for the VAV Generation App. Under special cases, when the serving air handler name was being updated in the program, it would change more fields than intended.

In the two databases we have seen, this bug has manifested itself in two ways:

One as a blank graphic despite several binds existing on a graphic. Importing more VAVs of the same template will show the same symptoms. The fix in this case was to import the graphic to update the saved type.

One was the bind properties of the graphic becoming unsynced from the binds shown on the binding template. The bug didn't effect other objects, but importing more VAVs of the same template would also exhibit the same behavior. The database, still in the early stages and was scrapped and rebuilt. 

When you mark an object as a shared type, that type is saved to the AS. Since the new VAVs being imported have the same "type" as the older VAVs, They inherit the same graphics and issues that the existing ones have. Deleting every reference to the graphic may still not resolve the issue, but providing it with the correct graphic such as in the first example should fix things.
