Here’s the deal with ASD, it doesn’t work quite the same as BACnet or LON overrides.

First, you need to set up an ASD session in the microzone with USER/PASS as the login information. I attached a button that I worked on that will establish that session on click, so put that anywhere on your graphics that you want to override. Bind the ASD_User and ASD_Pass to the microzone you want to override, so when you click the button, it logs in which enabled the overrides.

For example, the binds should look like this:

The caveat of this is that I didn’t bind up the override points because I presumed that you wouldn’t be using ASD overrides. Most ASD sites that I’ve been on didn’t have them before, so we didn’t include them now. Plus, they haven’t used the overrides when I’ve set them up because the customer was too confused by the ASD overrides being inconsistent with the BACnet overrides. In the end, they bought a few more controllers for system uniformity.

If you would still like to do overrides, you need to add the button then add binds to the graphics. All you’ll need to do is bind from the AO or DO on the microzone to the binds on the graphics that say .pri at the end.

Here’s what the binds would look like if you were going to bind it up:

This is in addition to the user/pass binds shown above.
