Student Org Olympics to be in Dateline

I am pleased to report that the SGA sponsored Fall 2011 UHD Student
Organizations Olympics article will be published in the next edition
of Dateline.
I have been working to get the event noticed on the UHD Home page, but
that did not work out too well. The next best course of action was
Dateline. I prepared an article that was reviewed and accepted by
Dateline as of this morning. They were very appreciative to have a
report on an SGA event and are excited about the article.
In short, the article highlights the successes of the event, the
participating organizations, and those people responsible for making
the event come together. Hopefully, this article will increase
awareness of this new SGA tradition and our 3rd event in Spring 2012
will be even more successful.
Additionally, on behalf of the association, special thanks to
Senator's Andro Charbim and Isaac Valdez for the roles they played in
making the event a memorable experience for all.
