orientation islands the other night. I stopped in to see their reviews
and by far.--they agreed with us that VAI is the best
[18:00] Adra Letov: VAI is because it's based on accessibility
standards
[18:00] Professor Lilliehook: New user experience was the topic of my
presentation with Peter last Spring at the VWBPE conference
[18:00] Adra Letov: and they have grants to do it all so well
[18:01] Professor Lilliehook: I just like it because it's sequentially
correct and very easy to understand
[18:01] Adra Letov: The learning Curve on Infor island International
is a smaller orientation, less involved thatn VAI and has mentors
around to help
[18:01] Adra Letov: Gentle Heron is the admin there and she makes sure
the designs are ADA compliant

builder, and did my best to re-terraform that area
[18:05] Professor Lilliehook: I tried putting out some sculpty sand,
but it didn't look very good
[18:05] Adra Letov: The perimeters look nicer without the road
[18:05] Professor Lilliehook: I think having the road gone makes the
island look a bit more spacious?

[18:06] Adra Letov: Do we return the POST building too now that we
have this lovely structure?
[18:06] Arcanejill Magic: I have a tool that makes scupltys of the
"Ground" so that it matches the curves and area so you can use
different textures.
[18:06] Professor Lilliehook: I don't think we can ditch the POST
building until the College of Education moves?

until we finish and distribute what we're going to do with this
building. There is also an issue with permissions and ownership.

to have permissions for me as island administrator---or Jill---as my
trusty asst administrator

organization. No?

[18:08] Adra Letov: They established the island then quit the work
they were doing
[18:08] Professor Lilliehook: I know about LILT. I keep returning
their signs.. They keep putting them back out...grrrr

theirs, and they aren't using it, get rid of it. No?
[18:09] Adra Letov: really? that's weird so there must be faculty or
grad students from LILT using the island. Dan would know I suppose
[18:09] Professor Lilliehook: I've also been in touch with Sam's UK
builder.
[18:09] Professor Lilliehook: I wrote to Dan Suthers as well.
[18:09] Adra Letov: Nothing is theirs any more since the CVC bought
the islands
[18:10] Professor Lilliehook: I screwed up and part of the POST
building was not locked down. I accidentally returned a whole wall and
have no way to get it back.

[18:10] Professor Lilliehook: I was returning all the LILT stuff from
that floor.
[18:10] Professor Lilliehook: it was tricky because they had these
transparent things...etc..

the islands, no?

right?

[18:10] Adra Letov: The wall is back as of today,i was there earlier

to fix it for us.

set for this build?

the Elevator system.

faculty, for example---can they modify it at all?
[18:12] Professor Lilliehook: You'd need to lock down the walls and
floors perhaps.
[18:12] Arcanejill Magic: I can make it so they can. BUt if I do that,
then ANYONE can change it. I cannot make it so that only certain
people can.

could really call her own? Take a floor of this building?

[18:13] Arcanejill Magic: I was hoping that we could give her a whole
florr for either classroom, or library or both.

meeting areas far enough apart so chat soesn't overlap

be fine, but I would shun from scripting.

rotating that

should've been the plan from the beginning of island use.

to power, light, heat, etc.. and send in a picture with a description.

of mine

onto a notecard.

on their favorite.

time to make a notecard.

me so I could tabulate it better on my computer.

create ncs and how to give inventory to an object.

preloader HUD

bulletin holder

will all be the same size, shape, texture---signs can then be put on
them

your sim, or in a certain area, et al, and put them on each side of a
cube prim. Use as many cubes as needed...

choose from the existing signage out there?

be covered by the sign
[18:33] Arcanejill Magic: Then you take all of the cubes and group
them together (link them), the "Wear it" as a HUD.

either decide on perhaps a "wooden looking" holder---a "Metal"
holder...etc..?????
