Minutes from Council Meeting Today

Today, Aug. 25 Meeting of SL Council

Present: Sifan, Adra, ArcaneMagic, Professor Lilliehook

1. Discussed problem with prim limit on main island; Professor
Lilliehook will send out an announcement to the system group about
prim limits

2. Approved new "sustainability bldg" build from Jill on corner of
main island/aquaculture island. Requires minor terraforming, removal
of trees.

3. Approved removal of road around the main island; Dan Suthers (ITS)
wants to keep visitation privileges, but no longer needs LILT stuff

4. Discussed upcoming possible events:
a. SiFan workshop on how to conduct live streaming events in SL (date
to be posted soon)
b. SiFan will contact the Oahu sim to see if their "hula and talk
story" troupe would perform on Aquaculture Island
c. Halloween Party--date TBA
d. SiFan has real-time observatory 1/2 hour available for Faulks
Telescope event. She will attempt to stream the live observatory time
into a Second Life "stargazing party"-- Date and time TBA

5. Discussed continued advocacy for Second Life.
6. Announced that KCC will be using the land currently housing the
HOLMES BLDG for their new build.
