Day & Time for Council Meetings?

Have we yet found a good time to continue our Second Life Council
meetings this Fall?

Wend. afternoon still works very well for me. Tues and Thurs afternoons
do not work (meetings).

Did we miss a meeting last week? I didn't see any announcements. Also,
when is the next social?

Weds are still good for me this term. We missed a meeting last week because I had a dept. function to attend. I asked for a volunteer to convene but everyone was busy. I won't go into it but my dept. has had a ton of work recently with moving out of RL POST bldg. and into Hamilton Library (post flood recovery), and we are still receiving furniture and getting labs set up, so life is a bit unpredictable.

Barbara perhaps as Admin you could convene the next meeting and we could set up for the term, and go over the changes on the islands, etc.

Si is scheduled to do a talk/workshop on streaming on the island in September. We thought Sept. would be good to attract faculty who want to use the island to bring in RL presenters and Si has been doing so well! Sadly, I had to miss the last IFA event, if anyone took pictures let's post them.

Recently I visited Arcanejill Magic's land where she builds and tries things out. Jill showed me a fabulous POST building that resembles the current but is more futuristic in appearance and function, plus it is far fewer prims. Barbara maybe you could check it out and we could consider replacing the present POST with the futuristic POST that Jill made.

 Hi guys...I am back from a summer out of the country and ready to jump back in! Wednesdays would be good for me, although I teach in the morning till 11.
