A call for partnership UH-SL islands - deadline - Oct 26, 2011

Aloha to our UH-SL friends,

    We need your partnership and suggestions. Since time has come to pay to the Island Maintenance - the usual Six Month payment to the Linden Labs - we have checked on all the past and present users and it seems that it looks like the following (please correct Yoko Yamamoto and let her know of the update and changes):

Aquaculture Program (us - including Dr. Barbara McLain, Yoko, our friends and helpers and myself)

Institute of Astronomy (contact person: SiFan)

Psychology (contact person: Dr. Leon James)

Library Information Science (contact person: Dr. Diane Nahl)

Computer Information Science (not active but created the POST building, contact person: ?)

Music (contact person: Dr. Barbara McLain)

Kapiolani Community College (not active) (contact person: Mary Hattori)

School of Nursing, Chaminade University (contact person: Sharon LePage)

Language (Dr. DongPing Zheng)

     We will have to pay by Oct 26 and we plan on paying on time in order to make sure that everyone who uses the UH-SL islands will be able to continue to do so as usual. My question, however, is who can and be willing to help us and partner with the payment. 

     Since in a few hours I'm on my way to Samoa I'd like to suggest that you get in touch with Dr. Barbara McLain and Yoko Yamamoto to work out the arrangement. Your kind contribution is greatly appreciated.
