Hello fellow SLers,

I received an email from Kurt at Kauai Community College and was wondering if any of you can answer his question (see below).

Thanks again,
Rebecca

Hi Kurt, yes UH and Chaminade nursing programs both work in SL.
Sharon LePage is the contact person at Chaminade who trains their nursing faculty and students.
Estelle Codier is the UHM nursing faculty member working in SL.
Aloha, Diane Nahl

Dear Diane,
I wonder if you'd be interested in being a guest speaker for my Spring seminar class on Social Media, Agency and Languaging. I have good memories of our interaction in Second Life and thought your research focus on affective computing and information technology literacy, information literacy instruction and human computer interaction can bring new perspective to one of my course goals, which is to broaden language teachers and researchers' current understanding of language and language use.

The class meets on Tuesdays 3-5:50. I am sensitive to our busy schedule and suggest an hour's visit in class or in SL, or skype would be sufficient to open students' eyes.

Best regards.

Dongping
