We need your help pinning down a date for our first meeting this
year. We're planning to hold it at the Union Pacific Headquarters
Building (1400 Douglas Street) at 6p during the week of February
15-19. For anyone interested in attending, please let us know which
of these days work (or don't) and if you'd prefer a different time.
The meeting format will be:
* Introductions and Overview of the Group
** Mission Statement
** Goals Discussion
* Usability Presentation (Each meeting we'll have a different
presentation from a different company or group - the Human Factors
Team at Union Pacific will give the first presentation).
* Open Discussion (Related to usability processes, practices, tools,
etc)
* Conclusion and Next Steps
From previous feedback, some of our goals for this year include (we'll
finalize the list at the next meeting):
* Increased membership
* Networking
* Learning
* Teaching
* Become an official UPA chapter or charter membership in a nationally
recognized group
* Participate in world usability day
