Greetings from Africa Youth Ministries. As we commemorate the International Day of Forests #IDF2024 21st March, we’re partnering with Greening Uganda to raise resources to provide tree seedlings to refugee communities in Uganda, Uganda is host to 1.5 million refugees (Africas largest refugee host) Refugee needs trees for firewood, trees for fruits, trees for shade, trees for medicine etc. Just 1$ will buy 3 seedlings for firewood & 2.5$ will buy 1 big big fruit tree for fruits. Similarly, planted trees will help carbon sequestering by capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and transforming it into biomass through photosynthesis.
