Happy new year to all of you

I am sure you all know by now but thought I should also state it.

Our brother Koshie Dumor has lost his brother Komla Dumor today

For those of you who are in touch or can reach him please extend some warm condolence on our behalf.

Koshie please accept mine. God gives and He takes away. I believe God knows best and I want to assume that Komla has finished the job God gave him on earth that is why God has called him; painful though.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

really sad indeed. i called Kosh yesterday but of course his frame of mind was mixed up. He said he was preparing to go to London and take the remains to Ghana. I mentioned to him we are all behind him with our prayers.

Hmmmm, I believe this is a difficult time for all of us, as we share in our brother and friend, Korshie's loss. My heart also goes out to Komla's wife (Kwansema) and the children. I happened to have listened to a Whatsup post he did a few weeks back, and I am convinced that he left his mark on the sands of time; in Ghana, in Africa and in the world. Let us all continue to pray and care for the family he left behind and trust that the Lord Himself will fill the vacuum his exit has created. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Korshie, if you get to read this message, please know that the Lord WILL take care of you.

Oh life and all its twists and turns, its so unpredictable and many times so out of our control. We all have so many questions to ask God when we meet Him. I have struggled in my own small way to deal with this blow. Apart from being sober and uncertain of the time neither the hour we shall meet our maker, we must strive to be at peace with all. I am not amazed how influential Komla has been to us all. He was a true gentle giant at heart. May he rest in peace.
