Hey everyone,

Just wanted to give you all an update on some goings on here in the last week.  I went down to give an announcement at John Knox Presbyterian Church about our gallery celebration.  If you didn’t know, we gave them about 20 pieces from previous shows and they put together a little gallery in their Church Narthex.  It looks great and the congregation is very curious about it.  As part of the deal we are going to have a little celebration at their Church to talk about the issue of homelessness in Seattle and invite them to participate.  This is happening September 16th from 7-9pm if any of you are interested in joining me.

James, I know some of the group is curious as to what they should be doing during this in-between time…any thoughts?

Love all you guys…thank you for your wonderful hearts and service to these men.

Hi all,
I talked with Henry recently and he's stoked in his laid back way about doing the mural.  He said no pay is necessary since it's for the mission.  He said he could paint live at the next ugm art walk event.  Does the ugm have any requests or requirements for him?

I'm going to be short on time this fall.  I have a night class Thursdays so  I can't make it then.  Is there anything I should do before the quarter starts?

Keith

This is awesome about Henry!  I am talking with our administration and I’ll tell you what the verdict is.

Cool! keep us posted! as far as things to work on in the in between period, if anyone knows of any grants or sources for art supply donations, we could use them! I had a nice meeting with a past director of the street life gallery for the homeless, and he gave us a few leads to follow up on. in the meantime, just spread the word.

thanks!
James

Hey Knox,
Not sure if I can make it but I'm interested in the event at J.K. Pres. tomorrow night. Would you send me the address in case I can come? (I'm assuming anybody can come.)
Thanks,
Dana Jill
