There is a new job opening at the University of Utah for someone who knows Grails. (I am moving to another grant, and so my current employer will be looking for someone to take my place). I have loved working at this job (I didn't want to move, but hey those are the breaks). Basically you would be the sole developer working on this website:
http://www.medicalhomeportal.org/. It runs on a single production machine (you don't have to do load balancing, and database replication), has relatively light traffic (8K hits a month), and is written in Grails 1.3.7. There are two databases, MySQL, and eXist. The seeming static web pages are created by doctors using Altova's Authentic plugin and saved as XML files, and then XSLT to transform them to the public pages. If you live in the Salt Lake Valley, like Grails, know a bit about XML technologies, and are looking for full-time employment, this would be a great job for you. Send me a response and we can talk more about what they are looking for, and if you're interested, I can connect you with the people doing the hiring.
