Amazing speakers for 2012

We're really excited about the GR8 US 2012 lineup. We have been hard at work lining up great speakers and topics for GR8 US 2012 on July 29-31. Our keynote speakers are Graeme Rocher, Dierk König and Dr. Venkat Subramaniam. Graeme will give us an update on the state of the Grails platform. Venkat will give us some lessons for language designers and devleopers and Dierk will show us how to improve our Groovy Kung Fu. Each of our keynote speakers have talks in addition to their keynote addresses as well.

In depth workshops

In addition to two full days of talks, we have an additional day of workshops on Sunday, July 29th. If you're looking to get a jump start into Groovy and Grails, check out Ken Kousen's "Groovy for Java Developers" and "Quick and Easy Guide to Grails". Otherwise, Dr. Venkat Subramaniam has two great workshops: "Thinking and Programming in a Functional Style" and "Creating DSLs in Groovy". Each of our workshops is 4 hours long. We'll have a morning block and an afternoon block. You can register for one or both on our registration page.
