Dear Samuel,
It’s been a long while!! I hope all is well with you.
Am wondering if you still interact with youth and would like to invite them for this competition. Kindly, share the email invitation below with them.
Many thanks in advance.
Hope I can catch you real soon.
Cheers!

Subject: WBG Youth Summit_ Ugandan national selected to come to World Bank Group Youth Summit 2015 Live Competition, Tuesday, November 17, 2015
Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to you to inform you that a Ugandan national, Gloria Kalyango Nakyejwe, wrote a proposal that was selected to be presented live on November 17 2015 at WBG Headquarters in Washington DC during the Youth Summit 2015. This competition crowdsourced Innovative business or policy level ideas on how to mainstream climate change and achieve development needs in a specific WBG client country.
Gloria and her team (Team ECO-TECHNOLOGIES) has plans to assemble and distribute cookers that use biogas and pumice stones rather than timber fuel like charcoal and firewood which contribute to carbon monoxide deaths and lung disease. The new stoves are expected to be affordable, adapted to long-hours cooking needs and can be used for both domestic and commercial use in urban and rural settings.
The Youth Summit is intended to engage youth from around the world and specially from WBG client countries. We acknowledge that coming to the US is not easy or affordable for many youth, however we still want them engaged and for this purpose parts of the event will be livestreamed both November 16 and 17 and recorded online.
We would like to invite you to the World Bank Country Office of Uganda to be part of this event on Tuesday, November 17 starting at 5.00pm, and connect to vote on the winners of the competition. In addition, you can also invite youth from organizations that you may know within your networks.
For more information, see description below and find attached the agenda, a presentation that includes the results achieved so far, our poster and our social media toolkit.

Tuesday November 17, 2015 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
World Bank Uganda Country Office, 4th Floor, Rwenzori House, Plot 1, Lumumba Avenue.
Let me know if you all are interested in connecting.
Thank you very much for your attention.
