Dear members,
Good afternoon. In May-June 2016, the Executive submitted a bid to the African Evaluation Association for UEA to host the AFREA Conference in March 2017. In addition, UEA paid subscription fees to AFREA for two years as this was a pre-requisite for consideration.
We are glad to inform you that Uganda has been selected to host the conference. Congratulations! See message below.
We shall be in touch with you to progress this matter further. In the meantime, your views are welcome on possible venues, volunteering to participate in preparations and themes for discussion. You can share your views with me copied to the General Secretary Ms Joy and Administrator Darlington whose mails are included above.
I encourage those who are not paid up for 2016 to do so urgently not to be left behind.
Thanx
Rosetti Nabbumba Nayenga
President
UEA

One of the key actions from your side is to put together a conference task force that will work with the AfrEA conference task force. Also let us know who will be the contact person/ chair of the conference task force for the Uganda team. In addition, the identification of potential conference venues that the AfrEA board will inspect and approve one will be essential.
