Dear Member,
Warm greetings from the UEA Executive which has been working tirelessly to implement the 2016 Work plan that was approved at the last AGM.
The Association has commenced an internship programme on the basis of the attached TOR that you provided comments on.
We have started with three interns on 1st August 2016 by the names of: Mr. Godfrey Awori, Ms. Penninah Babirye and Ms. Judith Mugero. They will help in the preparation of the AFREA Conference as well as undertake other assignments.
A major constraint where we need your support is on working tools for the programme. These interns need computers and at least one printer to work effectively. In case you or your organisation has new/used equipment that we can borrow or that you can donate to the association, we shall be most appreciative of your support. We also need filing cabinets and other furniture.
The interns would also like exposure to M&E practices in members' workplaces. In case you can allow the interns to come to your workplace for a few days to learn from you and support your work, let us know through the UEA Administrator Mr. Darlington Senoga on 0752456789/0774114555 or above email address.
Feel free to make use of this programme. You can submit names of potential interns that will be scruitinised and lined up to be taken up in subsequent periods.
