Dear Colleagues,

RE:    INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SEMINAR AND TO SUBMIT PAPERS TO BE PUBLISHED AND DISSEMINATED ON THE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY MARCH 8, 2013

March 8th is the International Women’s Day, a day that enables us to recognize the need for women to be integrated into social mainstream. This is an official holiday internationally and is marked in Uganda, MUBS also marks this day. This year the International Women’s Day theme is “The Gender Agenda Gaining Momentum”

The Leadership and Entrepreneurship Centres along with the Career Guidance unit annually organize a seminar that assesses the progress made so far in the country towards the need to empower women. To mark the event this year a seminar will be held as in previous years. However we are planning a publication to record the success and challenges of women empowerment. It also calls for discussion of the idea at a Seminar to be held on Friday March 8, 2013 from 9: 00a.m to 2:00pm, at MUBS Annex Faraday Road, Bugolobi. We would therefore wish to invite authors to submit papers, case studies or experiences on any of the following themes.
