Subject: Lecture: Women of Early Christian Africa

November 15th at 6:30 pm UGA's Classics Department is hosting a speaker, Kate Cooper, who will be giving a lecture at UGA on “The Women of Early Christian Africa.” Kate is Professor of Ancient History at University of Manchester, Manchester, UK and is a FABULOUS and interesting speaker. She recently toured Algeria and will have many pictures of abandoned Roman towns to show while she discusses women and Christianity in the early days. There is a reception afterwards to which everyone is warmly welcomed. The lecture is in room 101 of the Miller Learning Center. Erika Hermanowicz eri...@uga.edu is the person to contact with questions. cwb
