Salt Lake City, UT

6 mo. contract to hire

Pay Range: $40.00 - $50.00per hr / Salary Client: $80K - $100K

 

Job Description:

 

Responsible for Security, Firewall rule sets, Intrusion Detection Systems, Virtual Private Networks, Domain Name Systems, VLAN Dynamic Host Configuration, RAID, Samba Domain, Disaster Recovery, PGP, Apache, IIS, Mail Systems, Database Systems, Routing Protocols and Networking Hardware.

 

Responsible for installation, maintenance, support, backup, recovery and integrity of enterprise servers, associated OEM vendor software and workstations.

 

Required Skills:

• 7+years experience in information systems with 4+years experience in system programming in a distributed system environment.
• Extensive recent hands-on Linux Administration experience – must be candidate’s core competency
• Strong knowledge in two or more of the following programming languages (one on each platform): PERL, C#, C/C++, Visual Basic, or SQL.

Bonus Skills:

• Windows Systems Administration
• TCP/IP
