So while I wasn't intimately involved with the group originally, I really enjoyed getting together to learn.

I am currently working as a (new) admin at Bluehost. There are lots of friends that want to learn more there. We are going to get together and do study groups based on Linux system administration and networking, but really open to any/all interesting topics.

The reason I bring this up is 1 I would like to invite everyone to participate, and 2 I would like to do it in the context of the ufsug.

We have not decided on which evening we would like to meet yet but if it is Tuesday or Thursday night, the local hacker space TheTransistor has offered it's space for free.

I would like to offer my time for organization of the first few meetings and see if it works out in the context of his user group and wish to continue under this name.

Lastly, I wish not to step on toes but to try to bring back a good thing as the subject line suggest. I'm open for honest input.

I'd be up for it. I miss hanging out with geeks. I personally vote for Thrusday evenings.

Same here, bring it back. My schedule is pretty messed up right now, but I'll make time.

So, got the deal all straightened out.

It will be the first and third thursdays for the general meeting. And have set aside the fourth thursday for just hanging out ( read: im too lazy to plan too much ). The reason the second thursday isn't included is because there is a Learn a new programming language once a month at the same time.

I was going to post this http://thetransistor.com/about-us/directions/ but turns out that is less than helpful.

1185 South 1480 West
Orem, UT 84058

This is the place however, it is no longer what the googles think it is.

Please use the back entrance as there may or may not be a podcast being produced in the lobby of the front entrance.

Anyway, that should be it unless there are further questions.
