Hey all,
I'm currently enrolled in a Information Security class at UVU and I have an assignment due on Monday to crack about 100 passwords for a Windows shadow file. To do the cracking I can use my one computer, but when I get one point for every password I kind of want to get as many cracked as possible.
If anyone here has a spare box just sitting around would it be possible for me to borrow them for a few days so I can do a distributed John the Ripper attack on this password file? I just recently sold off all of my spare computers and I really can't start them on a 5 day run in a closet, my wife would be a bit upset.
