Hi,

I'm sure most of you who are reading this don't remember joining this group, like 10+ years ago when the group was active. Well I just wanted to send this one announcement email out for any who are still in Utah and participating in Linux and open source. I'm trying to build up the community around the Provo Linux User Group (PLUG) as I know there are more Linux and open source advocates than those I see generally participating in our monthly meetings. So as such, I'd like to let everyone here know about how they can participate, if you so desire.

1. The website is https://plug.org

2. We have meetings every third Tuesdays, the next will be May 21st in Orem (by UVU)

3. You can join the PLUG mailing list (not very active) here: https://plug.org/mailman/listinfo/plug

4. We recently created a Telegram group to provide a more active conversations and support channel, which you can join by going here: https://t.me/joinchat/DKUwX0sHch1DXKNL4fmCnA

Note: You can still join the PLUG Telegram group and mailing list even if you don't live in the Provo area to attend the meetings.

I have contemplated going to the PLUG Meetups via the Meetup app. I’ll be out of town for the May one, but maybe I’ll make the June Meetup.

After several years of just lazily using the Macbook Pros that companies give me, I have finally gotten back into Linux. I got a used Thinkpad, and I've been really enjoying Fedora on it. I'd like to join that telegram group, Michael can you send me an updated invite?
