System Administrator / Support Engineer - Asia Package
 
Direct Hire & Contract-to-Hire
 
3 Shifts available Please indicate which one you are interested in:
1st   :  8am 5pm
2nd  :  3pm 12am
3rd  :  12am  -  8:80am
 
 
Pay $30 - $34/hr, D.O.E.
Range of $60k - $72k once it goes direct
  10% bonus hourly for 2nd shift
  15% bonus hourly for 3rd shift
 
Location: Salt Lake County, Utah

Job Desc ( short ):
This position is to support their growing presence in China.   Supporting their Asia Pack of products/services.
End Point product support
 
 
Work with external customers calling in that purchase their services/products. They typically have 4 types of customers:
Customers backing up PCs
Customers backing up / storage of MS servers, MS SQL, MS Exchange
Pre-Paid package maintenance customers
Vault customers
Inbound calls and e-mails. This is the person that will always be available to the customer.
Typically open and work on 120 trouble tickets / month. 5-7 per day. Own the tickets and solve the trouble. They must be someone that can solve 90% of the trouble tickets they bring in. When they are not on the phone, they are researching tickets.
Similar to a Level 2 technical system support in other companies.
 
 
Required:
  • 2+ yrs in a Systems Administration role, with Technical Support.
  • 2+ yrs Microsoft Windows Server support experience
    • Experience with MS Exchange 2007 and newer
      • ~   OR ~
    • Experience with MS SQL 2005 and newer
  • Must be Super Customer Service experienced and really get into that. Someone who wants to help the customer, whatever the problem, own the problem & solution.
  • Familiar with Asia Package / Industry of technical customer support
  • Background check prior to hire
Desired:
  • Mandarin or Cantonese  ( anyone with one of these will move to the top of the list )
  • Sonicwall CDP
  • End Point Support Products
  • BS Degree strongly preferred
  • Scripting experience; Server, PC, windows
 
 
Soft Skills:
Enthusiastic
Confident in your technical ability, while not arrogant
Excellent customer services & can express yourself over the phone.
Culture is very big there. They need people who want to be there. Someone that wants to own the process from when the problem comes in, to the resolution.
