That being said, when are we meeting again, I'd like to get some perspective on the new ubuntu release. I'd be glad to host it at my house on any day, at any time.

I'm for getting together again. I could use the time off once a week.
I think we'll have better attendance/more fun if the get-togethers are not limited in content and scope down to only software which RMS himself would approve of. Sorry in advance if that opinion offends.
For me, at least, the meetings were most fun in the beginning when we talked about and did whatever tech things we were into at the time. Most of that was Linux/free stuff, as we ourselves were new(ish) to Ubuntu /Linux/FOSS/Gnu stuff.
In essence, we were hacking. -In the true sense of the word. That's what draws me.
Maybe we can rotate weeks through topics: Free software, networking, hardware, programming, etc.
If we want to hold it at my house in Orem sometimes, we totally can. I have a basement now, and no night classes since graduation.
Thoughts?

I think what Rush is saying is we shouldn't just limit it to 100% RMS approved topics, but other topics that a bunch of geeks may also enjoy, in addition to FLOSS talk. Like programming, my obsession with encryption and password security, and actual hardware projects like building cantennas.

that all still sounds like stuff we could have (and did) talk about before....
