SUN JavaFX Demonstration @ Santa Fe 4/8

Hello,

You are invited to attend the Gator Java Users Group meeting.  We will be having speaker Jim Clarke, a Principle Engineering with SUN Microsystems demostrating JavaFX.  The meeting will take place on April 8th from 6:00p to 9:00, at the Sante Fe Community college Room S326.

JavaFX is a new RIA platform built on Java. Jim Clarke, the primary author of JavaFX - Developing Rich Internet Applications (June 2009), will demonstrate JavaFX development live, including sample REST applications.

Speaker: Jim Clarke is a Principle Engineer with Sun Microsystems and has spent the
last 12 years developing with Java. For the past 2 years, Jim has been working directly with JavaFX and participated on the JavaFX compiler team.
